Themselves–Dose One and Jel–are set to tour in support of CrownsDown, the group’s new full-length out October 20 via Anticon. Currently touring Europe, starting November 19 the duo will hit venues across the U.S. with another hip-hop pair, Minneapolis’ Eyedea & Abilities.
CrownsDown features the helping hands of D-Styles, Dax Pierson and Jordan Dalrymple of Subtle and The Notwist’s Markus Archer. It also marks a return to the basics; each track is modeled after classic rap themes such as the beloved diss track.
The third full-length from the group follows theFREEhoudini mixtape, released earlier this year, featuring favorites like new Anticon member Serengeti, Aesop Rock and Buck 65.
Chances are you’ll see Jukebox the Ghost–when they’re not too busy listening to Built to Spill–at one of Themselves’ shows.
