Girl Talk is set to embark on a massive tour that stretches from November through the end of next March. The mash-up DJ plays the Hot Festival in Buenos Aires and Sao Paolo’s Planeta Terra Festival before returning to his home town of Pittsburgh, then setting out across the U.S. Full dates via Consequence of Sound.
No release date has been set, but Girl Talk told Pitchfork a new album is on the way, possibly due before the end of the year. The follow up to 2008′s Feed the Animals, this one samples Nicki Minaj, Fugazi, Black Sabbath, Aphex Twin and several more. Another “lawsuit waiting to happen?” Mr. Gillis wasn’t worried about it then, and he’s not worried about it now.
